As a 2001 graduate of Clemson University, Dr. Martin went on to attend the Medical University of SC Dental School from 2001-2005 and completed her dental implant and periodontics residency at the University of Pittsburgh, PA. After opening her practice in Beaufort, SC in 2008, Dr. Martin relocated 9 years later to Myrtle Beach, SC, joining her husband who is a professor at Walls Business College at Coastal Carolina University. Dr. Martin is passionate about volunteering; serving free dentistry to underserved populations in the U.S. through initiatives such as the DAD program (Dental Access Day), as well as serving veterans and taking mission trips overseas. Dr. Martin has two daughters; Sophia and Audrey, and two cats. She enjoys gardening, walking, and traveling.
